I have been training and working with dogs since a young age (about 5)  alongside my grandma. I became more interested in the field when I moved out and rescued a dog of my own. But my true journey didn't start until my son was diagnosed with ADHD & OCD and I had to unlearn everything I knew about parenting and adopt a more positive style of parenting to make headway with him. But that event in my life changed how I interacted with the world around me which led me to the force free fear-free training world. The impact it had on my family, including my dogs and cats, was breathtakingly beautiful.

About Me - Your Dog's Best Friend!

Going out on rescue calls, feeding the homeless dogs and witnessing the roadside ditched dogs and taking in the “hard cases” that other fosters couldn't  (dogs with mange, eye problems, buck shots in their body, broken legs that hadn't been treated, rubber bands in the tail and no housetraining manners whatsoever) ulters how one can see these animals and from those moments my heart and mind were set that this is what was had to do with my life. I had to become the trainer, leader and guide for force free training that I wanted to be and dedicate my energy to educating myself in the field, putting the work in and making it my life goal to make it better for these wonderful canines.

The training techniques we use are science based learning theory and force-free/fear-free training. We discourage the use of force and punishment-based correction methods. The reward-based training methods we use are scientifically proven to be more effective and better for your dog both emotionally and psychologically. We also work with what is called free choice behaviors which will teach your dog to problem solve, develop these skills and employ them rather than reacting based on impulse. Through the teaching your dog will start  to make better choices. Training in this fashion will give longevity to the behaviors as your dog has to use their brain power to get the desired reward.

This style of training does not allow a dog to run wild and do what it wants because ‘it is having fun'. Dogs still have rules and boundaries within this style but with the focus on taking away what the dog naturally wants with any unwanted behavior instead of using tactics to scare, startle, intimidate or inflict pain on a dog
